Experience

Since a very young age I sang and danced in residential homes with Miss Campbell's Rainbow Troupe and derived much joy from performing to the elderly. When I was in my teens I had a couple of part time jobs in care homes, thereby giving me the chance to connect with older clients. I always loved finding out about their life stories and would sometimes sit and sing old war songs with them. I gained much pleasure from this and was able to continue communicating and singing with older people within my job at the QEQM Hospital where I worked as a dietetic assistant for 8 years, mainly with older patients.

I spent many years performing with Margate Operatic Society and was also was a member of Cliftonville Youth choir from the age of 6 to 15.

I have since gone on to obtain a first class degree in Performing Arts with Vocal Studies and hence decided that I would like to use the knowledge and experience I'd gained to help both young and old through the use of music and singing :)
