Located in Tunbridge Wells and Freedom Leisure Centre Crowborough, Martial Arts Boxing Academy offers a diverse range of martial arts training, specializing in Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do (JKD) concepts and Panantukan, also known as Filipino Dirty Boxing. Our programs blend various martial arts styles, including Western Boxing, Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Kickboxing, Thai Boxing, Pencak Silat, Fencing, Kali, Savate, Jujitsu, and Filipino Empty Hands, to create well-rounded martial artists.

Jeet Kune Do Founded by Bruce Lee in 1967, Jeet Kune Do is a hybrid martial art focused on interception—striking your opponent as they prepare to attack. Unlike traditional martial arts, JKD has no fixed patterns, emphasizing Simplicity, Directness, and Freedom. The goal is to use minimal movement for maximum effect, with techniques such as Single Direct Attack, Progressive Indirect Attack, and Hand Immobilization Attack.

At Martial Arts Boxing Academy, we encourage self-defense alongside fitness training, fostering physical well-being and mental resilience. Our comprehensive approach includes pad work, stand-up combat, close-quarter techniques, counter-attacks, takedowns, and grappling. With a strong foundation in JKD and Panantukan, we empower students to create their own style with no limitations.

Classes and Programs We offer various training options, including group classes for adults (age 15+) and juniors (ages 10-14), private 1-on-1 lessons, and small group sessions. Beginners are welcome, with special crash courses such as Women's Self Defense, Panantukan, and bespoke corporate sessions available.
