I am a fully qualified personal trainer with over 15 years experience, working both in the fitness industry and in teaching. I spent many years teaching in further education and running a training provider, teaching people to become fitness instructors and personal trainers. I now devote all my time to personal training.

I have worked with a range of clients, including younger people, people with injuries, those with ongoing illnesses, disability groups, and older adults. I am also qualified to work with pre and post natal clients, and have experience working with post-natal women.

Throughout my career, I have worked with people of all ages both in mainstream education and those with specific physical and educational needs, delivering many different courses and practical sessions within a variety of settings. I have educated a range of people from those at the beginning of their educational journey to those with many years experience within the fitness industry.

Fitness plays an important role in my everyday life and is something I draw inspiration from and thrive to pass on to others.

Personal Training Your fitness experience is tailored to your specific needs and circumstances, ensuring that changes are manageable for you in order to build a healthy lifestyle that can be maintained for the long-term.

Personal training programmes require an holistic approach to ensure success, therefore, I focus on elements outside of your one-to-one sessions, including your diet, habits and lifestyle. Guided by you, we can make decisions and changes to improve your health and wellness, ensuring we are meeting your fitness goals in a time to suit you.

I have all the necessary equipment for a safe and effective workout, therefore not needing the use of a gym, meaning sessions can be at a time and a place to suit you.

Sessions can be booked individually, or block booked (4+) at a discounted rate. Block bookings include a health and lifestyle overview, exercise programmes, session plans, dietary advice and regular progress checks.

If you would like to train with a friend, you also have the option to booked paired sessions. Got more than one friend you want to train with? No problem! Small groups can also be catered for, allowing you to have the personal training experience at a reduced rate.

Online personal training via Zoom is also available.

Corporate Fitness I offer corporate fitness, in which I can provide classes both online and in person, fitness challenges, wellness workshops, and general fitness advice via emails. I am more than happy to speak to companies to discuss a tailored approach to improving employee health and fitness.

Corporate fitness is aimed at companies who recognise the benefits of investing in the health and wellness of their employees. Providing your employees with additional activities will help them to adopt healthy lifestyle habits, and ultimately improve overall physical and mental health. By promoting health and wellness, your company could increase productivity, reduce absenteeism and improve employee morale.

Experience

Online Classes I offer several different online classes, including HIIT, 30 minute classes and KettleBell Klub. All classes are delivered via Zoom.

Monday HIIT – 6pm

All you need is a small space, preferably a mat or a towel and trainers. This body weight circuit that incorporates cardiovascular and muscular endurance training is around 45 minutes, with intervals reducing in time throughout the session. Go at a pace to suit you, and you’ll soon find yourself improving as time goes on.

Scrambled Leggs – Tuesdays 7am

A 30 minute Zoom class focussing on the lower body. Hit those hammys and grill those glutes to kickstart your Tuesdays! No equipment needed.

Early Morning Abs – Wednesdays 7am

A 30 minute online class focussing on the core, helping to flatten your stomach and strengthen your back. This less intense workout is great to get you going mid-week. You just need a mat or a towel for your own comfort!

Dawn Dumbbells – Thursdays 7am

An all over online session. Spend 30 minutes at the start of your day improving your muscular endurance, ensuring all areas of the body are covered. You will need a set of dumbbells for this workout.

KBK- KettleBell Klub – Wednesdays 7:45am

Join us for an intense 45 minute full body workout using kettlebells. This workout will put your stamina, cardio, core strength and muscular fitness to the test! You will need at least 1 kettlebell for this workout via Zoom.
