Experience
About Wendy My name is Wendy and I have been in the fitness industry for around 10 years, but have actively taken part in fitness since I was at school. I have found exercise has got me through some difficult times in my life, and it helped to keep me focused. I am a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 3 Pilates instructor, with many other fitness qualifications. I actively teach Group Exercise classes in Canterbury, Dover & Ramsgate. I am always updating my qualifications and I am currently completing a degree in Sports, Coaching and Performance. I love lifting weights and enjoy Yoga and Pilates. I believe that whatever your fitness goal I am able to help you. I’m a great believer that training sessions should be fun, social and with some laughter to motivate you.
I became interested in massage when I kept having a repeated injury from teaching my classes had forget that my body required self-care and looking after too. Around 4 years ago I started having monthly Sports Massage to stop my niggles becoming injures, seeing the results it made me want to train to give massages. For me massage is an important part of caring for yourself, it helps sooths tight muscles, relaxing the mind and body. I want to educate the people on the benefits of massage, and why they should include this as part of their self-care routine.
