Rye Dance Centre offers exceptional dance instruction in the South East, providing a high standard of technical and artistic training in a friendly and enjoyable environment. With a team of caring, professional, and qualified teachers, students can pursue their love of dance and theatre, whether for personal enjoyment or as a foundation for a future professional career.

Students at Rye Dance Centre have the opportunity to enter examinations in ISTD ballet, modern, tap, and contemporary dance. We encourage participation in shows, pantomimes, and performances, as well as optional festivals, where students can compete with fellow dancers and socialize.

We extend a warm welcome to new students of all ages, from 6 months to adults, whether they are beginners or experienced dancers. Our curriculum offers a wide variety of dance genres, with opportunities to participate in optional shows, pantomimes, and performances.

Each studio is fitted with mirrors, ballet barres, and Rosco professional flooring, all sprung for safety and comfort. The facility also includes toilets, a changing/waiting area, and air conditioning for comfort during warmer months.

Rye Community Centre Adjacent to Postern Gate, this studio is also equipped with mirrors, ballet barres, and professional Harlequin flooring, providing an additional space for our students to train and perform.

Rye Dance Centre offers a diverse range of dance classes suitable for all ages and skill levels. Here is a list of the classes available:

Ballet - Foundational training for all dance forms, focusing on technique, flexibility, and stamina. Modern Dance - Combines elements of modern dance, jazz, and other styles to create versatile dancers. Tap Dance - Focuses on rhythm, timing, and agility, turning the dancer into a percussive instrument. Contemporary Dance - Expressive dance style combining modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet elements. Acrobatic Arts - A fusion of dance and acrobatics, emphasizing flexibility, strength, and balance. Musical Theatre - Combines singing, dancing, and acting, with opportunities to perform stage pieces from popular musicals. AcroDance - Focuses on acrobatic skills within dance routines, suitable for ages 4 to 15. Tiddlywinks Movement and Music - A class for children aged 12 months to 2.5 years, focusing on basic movement and rhythm. Adult Ballet - A fun, inclusive class for beginners and experienced dancers aged 16 and over. Adult Tap - A tap dance class for adults, also open to beginners and those with experience. Toddlers and Mums Ballet - A class designed for mothers and toddlers, including mums-to-be, to enjoy ballet together. These classes cater to different interests and skill levels, ensuring there's something for everyone, from young children to adults
