Classes Offered: Imperial Classical Ballet: This class follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, focusing on building a solid classical technique. Students learn about posture, alignment, rhythmic awareness, and performance skills, all while developing creativity in a structured environment.

Modern Theatre Dance: Also based on the ISTD syllabus, Modern Theatre Dance emphasizes correct posture and movement range, encouraging self-expression and creative movement. This class helps build strong technical foundations and promotes confidence in performance.

Tap Dance: This class teaches students the fundamentals of tap dancing, including rhythm, tonal qualities, and body alignment. Students work through graded levels to develop a secure technique and a sense of self-expression through rhythm and movement.

Musical Theatre: Accredited by the London College of Music (LCM), this class covers a broad range of musical theatre skills. Students can take exams in solos, duets, and groups, learning about repertoire and developing practical skills in a friendly and professional environment.

Acrobatic Arts: This program combines dance technique with acrobatic elements, focusing on flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling. The class offers progressions from basic to advanced tumbling, ensuring safe and effective skill development.

Singing: Vocal training classes focus on technique, performance, and confidence building. Students learn various singing styles and techniques, preparing them for solo and group performances.

Acting: These classes cover acting techniques, improvisation, and stagecraft. Students develop their acting skills through various exercises and performances, enhancing their ability to portray characters convincingly.

Adult Beginner Classes: Aimed at adults who are new to performing arts, these classes offer a supportive environment to explore dance, singing, and acting.

Pre-School Classes: Specially designed for younger children, these classes introduce the basics of dance and movement in a fun and engaging way, fostering early development of coordination and rhythm.

Experience

Royah Hamed - Principal Royah trained at the prestigious Italia Conti, graduating as Head Girl in July 2011. Whilst training, Royah worked professionally too. She filmed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 for two years. She also played Tara the Goddess in Trisha Walsh-Smith’s musical ‘Change the Day’ which featured on Pineapple Dance Studios and she has also filmed with MTV for a series called ‘Flash Prank’ which was aired all over Europe.

Since graduating, Royah has choreographed for HQ Theatres several times. She has worked as a vocalist and a dancer in Cyprus and was also lucky enough to work behind the cameras in America for 10 weeks. Since being back in the UK, she has choreographed for HQ Theatres again and also Sky Living and her fingers are crossed for her choreography to make the edit!

Royah still works professionally and loves teaching and working with children and young adults in this industry.

Her aim is to pass on her knowledge to the pupils she teaches so they can be successful in their career choice.
